TGiF! Weekly News on Kano's Combat Games for Nov. 15-21
Posted by Melanie G on 24 November 2014 10:15 AM
Here’s your development news round-up for the past week! To see more game-specific news or add comments, check out our TGIF posts on the Forums.
Player Bans for November 8 - 14
Note: Numbers represent permanently disabled accounts and do not include suspensions or other penalites.
Total accounts banned: 60
The majority of permanently frozen accounts are frozen for being a shared or alternate account. This is something we actively investigate, and we appreciate it when players let us know about possible issues.
If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please submit a ticket and avoid posting about them in the Forums or chat as Kano team members will not discuss account-related information in public channels.

Pirate Clan's Raid Boss BETA coming soon!
Capricorn, Pirate Clan's first Raid Boss is due to appear ingame near the end of the week! To learn more about the beta for this new feature, check out the beta announcement post, here.
The Kano servers underwent a big upgrade this past Wednesday, and while we had been carefully preparing for this for a while and weren't expecting there to be many issues, we did our best to give players a heads up had all hands on deck monitoring the change over and ready to manage any potential problems.
Happily, the upgrade took pretty smoothly. The only problems were with a small subset of the remaining Raid Bosses still being battled in Mob Wars: LCN. Devs jumped right in and were able to resolve this issue in under an hour. :)
As previously mentioned, Support loves it when players include screenshots with their tickets. Pretty much every device now contains tools to help users create them quickly and easily, such as the Snipping Tool included with Windows 7 and later.
Technically, you CAN also take a photo of your monitor with your phone or digital camera and send that to us, however these images are often poorer quality, WAY bigger than they need to be, and are sometimes in a file format difficult to use on the web.
If you need to grab an image of your screen and are not sure how, consider doing a quick search in your device's Help for "Screenshot" to see what options are available. We also have a basic How To guide in our Knowledgebase.
