TGIF! Weekly News on Kano's Combat Games for Oct. 13th-17th
Posted by Melanie G on 17 October 2014 05:35 PM
Here’s your development news round-up for the past week! To see more game-specific news or add comments, check out our TGIF posts on the Forums.
Player Bans for October 4th -10th
Note: Numbers represent permanently disabled accounts and do not include suspensions or other penalites.
Total accounts banned: 109
The majority of permanently frozen accounts are frozen for being a shared or alternate account. This is something we actively investigate, and we appreciate players reporting suspicious accounts to us.
If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please submit a ticket and avoid posting about them in the Forums or chat as Kano team members will not discuss account-related information in public channels.

Battle Arena Updates Coming Next Week
We’ve had a ton of feedback and suggestion from players about the Arena system over the past few months, including a revamped stamina slider and anonymous sign-up. Next week we'll be ready to put the first batch of these into action. Learn more about what's happening here!
Today is the 6 year anniversary of Kano/App's official formation, and as you have probably noticed, this weekend's Calendar Challenge is Birthday themed! ( Kudos to our designer Amaris for the Calendar image, that cake looks amazing. We clearly need to give her more food-themed art to do.)
Kano started in 2008 back when the team was just a few guys who met in school, coding out of their apartment. Six years later, we have four successful combat games, all being developed and maintained by 20 wonderful people.
A big thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way! Whether by playing or working with us to improve the games - you guys are awesome. :)
Also, two of us have birthdays this weekend: one of our Founders and our Office Manager. A very Happy Birthday to Eric and Nadine!
