Another Player is Sending Me Annoying Messages!

Kano makes competitive multiplayer games for adults, and a certain amount of trash talk and baiting is part of the fun. Sometimes, however, other players can get a little too aggressive with their messages and playing isn't quite so nice.
If this is happening to you, here's a number of ways to get some distance from other players.
If someone's comment in the chat are bothering you, the first and easiest thing you can do is mute them. To do this, hover over one of their messages and click the blue Options link that appears in the top right corner, then click Mute.
To do this on mobile, tap the ellipsis [...] button on the bottom right of the player's post, then select Mute.
Reload the chat, and you will see that player's posts are gone from the chat. You won't see any future chat posts from them unless you unmute them.
To unmute someone, click the Gear on the top right of the chat window, find them in your Muted Players list and and click Unmute.
Our PM system is set up so that players must be connected (mobbed/clanned/squad) to write eachother messages. Accounts that are not connected can only send "canned" phrases.
If someone's spamming you with canned messages, including Friend Requests, you can mute their PMs. On desktop, you can do this from your inbox by clicking [Block User] below their message. On mobile, press the ellipsis [...] button and select Mute Player.
If a member of your mob/clan/squad is sending you messages you'd rather not receive, the best way to stop it is to remove them from your friends.

If someone's bothering you outside the game chat or private messages, your best bet is to take a look at the tools available on the different networks our games are on. Here are some links that might help.
